Constitution and Rallies

Vehicle could not operate transport services due to rallies organized by different ethnic group before the expiry of the constitution assembly term.

Now CA is dissolved and its members are no longer members of the Parliament.

Rally For Social Harmony

People came together in a rally for social harmony at Durbar, Marga, Kathmandu on Wednesday. This mass meeting was organized by the Federation of Nepal Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, PABSON, the Federation of Nepalese Journalists, Television Broadcasters Nepal, Nepal Bar Association, The Gari Khana Deu Campaign and Samriddhi Foundation, among a host of other organizations. The participants were seen holding candles, waving national flag with dressed in white attire to support the peace cause.

May Day in Nepal

The  123rd International Workers' Day, which is also known as May Day, was celebrated by organizing various programs in Nepal on May 1st. Trade unions such as both factions of Unified Communist party of Nepal Maoist affiliated All Nepal Trade Union Federation (ANTUF), General Federation of Nepalese Trade Union (GEFONT) and Nepal Trade Union Congress (NTUC) organized rallies and mass assemblies in capital Kathmandu to mark the Workers' Day. May Day is observed every year on May 1 across the world as a symbol of international workers solidarity. Nepal celebrates it as a national holiday.

Travel Photography: Glacial Tsho Rolpa Lake

This region lies between Langtang range and Everest range and the side of both Mt. Langtang and Mt. Everest are the highlights of this trek. The trekkers will be rewarded with the enchanting view of majestic mountain Gaurishankar. The route is near by the Tibet border side so that one can understand a little about tibetan culture too. This area is mostly used by Buddhist people, However, we can also see the Brahmin, Cheetri, Tamang and Sherpa villages and theirs life style. The trail following the course of river Tamakoshi on the way to Simigaun adds more thrills to the trek. Between the Everest and Langtang regions is the stunning Mid-Eastern Range of the Himalayas: the Rolwaling Valley. This is home to famous peaks such as Mount Ghauri Shankar (7134m), Dorje Lakpa, and many more. A few miles south of the Tibetan border. it is known as the "Yeti". haunt the imagination of climbers. On the slope of Rolwaling Peak itself the famous British mountainner Eric Shioton first photographed Yeti footprints in 1951. The trek starts from Dolakha near Charikot, an eith-hour drive from Kathmandu. Trekkers also will get the opportunities to enjoy the beauty of Tsho-Rolpa, the largest Glacier Lake in Nepal.There is Sherpa village form where stunning view of Mt. Gahrishankar (7145m) , Melungtse(7181m) and other mountains, a breath taking landscape; the village of Beding (3690m) and monastery, the village of Na(4183m), Tso Rolpa Lake(4580) are the main attractions.
